Hair care: Sulfate free shampoo and conditioner

I recently had a Brazilian keratin treatment for my hair, I would love to have it rebonded but when the stylist checked my hair he said it's not advisable because my hair is 'oh so damage'! and he does not allow me to have it rebonded, instead he suggest I opt for Brazilian keratin treatment which will not promise a super straight hair but a lot more manageable and frizz free hair.

Now to maintain my manageable hair I need to use a sulfate free products, since the salon products they offer is much more pricey, I search the internet and found a much more affordable products.

And here's what I used after the treatment..

Human Heart Nature natural moisturizing shampoo

"Start your hair rescue with our Natural Moisturizing Shampoo in Mandarin Fresh! It’s the only one with breakthroughCREAMFoam technology, which acts like a lotion to soften and nourish your hair. Plus, it’s got Philippine coco nectar, bursting with amino acids, vitamins and minerals"

- foamy when washing hair (unlike other organic shampoo)
- hair fall :( i should have tried the strengthening variant
- still have dandruffs unlike when I used head and shoulders I don't have any dandruff

and

Organix Brazilian keratin therapy conditioner
" An alluring blend of antioxidant rich rich coconut oil along with lush keratin proteins to strengthen and soften hair, while avocado oil and cocoa butter smooth the cuticle for straight, strong, tresses adding brilliant glow andluminescent shine. This rich sulfate and sodium chloride free formula smooths and strengthens your curly or wavy tresses"

-Smells coconut i don't like the smell but since this is what I need i'd stick to the smell
(i might try other variants after I consumed this one, I like the smell of cherry blossom and pomegranate)
- A bit heavy on the hair, needs to air dry
- My hair becomes soft and shiny all day

Indeed, my hair stays manageable I don't even used hair iron anymore. Thanks to these sulfate free hair products that's readily available and affordable too.
I bought these two at Landmark Makati

Organix Brazilian keratin therapy: 449php

Landmark Beauty finds

I usually go to Watsons for buying beauty stuffs, but this time I went to Landmark and these are the items I bought yesterday:

blower hair brush
dove conditioner
kabuki brush
konjac cleansing sponge
Celeteque acne solution toner
vitress
acetone, cuticle remover, crack nail polish
sanitizer

Here's the kabuki brush for a better view..
i like it because the softness and fluffyness is the same as Ellana brushes for a much cheaper price, it's only 129 pesos :) this one is huge btw.

..So what is a Konjac sponge?
as it's description says:
It's an all natural sponge made from konjac roots(vegetable fiber) with extra fine texture used for cleansing
  • cleans skin pores eliminating blackheads, dirt and oil
  • kills acne
  • moisturized skin upon use
  • exfoliates sking to bring out natural shine
  • balance th pH of you skin

The price is only 50+ pesos. When you first bought it, it was actually in a solid hard form almost like a styrofoam.
For 1st time users  soften it by soaking in warm water for 3-5mins and the picture is what it actually look like.
This is very gentle on the face, ideal for everyday use. Will leave skin squeaky clean :)
**All in all, for face and body products i'd still go for Watsons because they have wide variety to choose from. as for beauty accessories, containers, brush pouch and of course make up brushes go for Landmark.

Updated: Inside my Kikay kit 2011

I haven't given updates with this for the past year as I started blogging. For 2011 kikay kit this is what i'm using..

Etude house pouch that I bought early this year which I also posted on this blog
what's inside...

I don’t pretty much bring a lot, I tend to switch my blush and lip color everyday depends on what I wear

inside my kikay kit are:
from left
brow brush
Mac eyeliner
Marrionaud blush brush
In2it powder foundation
The body shop blush
In2it eyebrow powder
Etude oil control film
lip balm
Etude house concealer
and Nyx round lipstick

I am minimalist when it comes to make up especially everyday when I'm at work a little touch up, a blush and lip color will do
Hope you like my post! :)
